Our position

Fubo IPTV respects the intellectual property of others and expects the same of its subscribers. We operate as an aggregation and delivery service: we do not produce, own, edit or select the programming carried in third-party streams. Where we are notified that material accessible through the service infringes a copyright, we act.

Notice and takedown

If you own a copyright, or are authorised to act for the owner, and believe material accessible through this service infringes it, send us a written notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. Valid notices are acted on promptly — normally within one to three business days of receipt.

What a valid notice must contain

To let us act rather than come back to you with questions, include all six of the following:

• A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner, or of a person authorised to act on their behalf.
• Identification of the copyrighted work you say has been infringed. Where one notice covers several works at one site, a representative list is acceptable.
• Identification of the material you are complaining about, specific enough for us to locate it — the channel name, stream identifier or exact URL, not simply a network's name.
• Your contact details: full name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
• A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
• A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or are authorised to act for them.

A notice missing any of these is not one we can act on, and it delays a resolution you presumably want quickly.

Where to send it

Email the notice to [email protected] with "DMCA notice" in the subject line. Attach supporting documents as PDFs. Email is the fastest route and is monitored daily, weekends included.

Counter-notification

If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, you may send a counter-notification. It must contain your signature, identification of the removed material and where it appeared, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith it was removed in error, your contact details, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court.

On receiving a valid counter-notification we forward it to the original complainant. Absent notice of court proceedings within the statutory period, the material may be restored.

Misuse

Knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing carries liability for damages under the Act, including costs and legal fees. Takedown is a legal process, not a way to remove a competitor.

Repeat infringers

We maintain and enforce a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of subscribers who are repeat infringers. Termination on this ground does not attract a refund.
